Winners of the Technigroup Award Design Competition 09

Technigroup is pleased to announce the launch of its first TECHNIGROUP AWARD Design Competition.

The theme for this year competition is “Productive Workplace”. Since it was established in 1984, the products manufactured by Technigroup were developed in response to the changing needs of specific user groups. This underlies our philosophy - constantly striving to meet new and ever-increasing demands expected of office furniture.

Many issues determine a productive workplace. Modern conditions such as the declining environment, poor indoor air quality, sustainability issues, rapidly changing technology, changing work life patterns, complement factors such as usability, cost, maintainence, safety and good looks. With this in mind, do a study on how the culture of office work is evolving due to these changes and how it will affect the use and design of the furniture in the office. And from all this research, give a design proposal for:

• A new typology of office furniture.
• The next generation of panel system.
• The next generation of desking system.
• New ways/ products to improve the way we work.

Eligibility
Open to full time students from educational institutions in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, The Philippines and around the region.
